The focus is to educate employees about the importance of quality and sustainability in the processes and product development. Fundamental habits such as selective trash collection, saving resources, responsible consumption, 'doing it right the first time', among others, are issues to be discussed and reinforced in the event.
The company will set up booths at strategic points and invite employees to participate interactively through board games, a game of four errors and educational videos. The drawing of a tree, 2 meters by 1 meter, was printed and will act as a mural for each person to leave his or her message. All 12 of the company´s business units are embracing the cause, which is held between April, May and June.
Cia. Hering recognizes the importance of each person in the fashion creating process, which are the company's products. The Quality and Sustainability Week seeks to plant the seed of quality in every step of the product, reinforcing the work done by the Quality department, which operates several programs that already work with this issue.
However, the campaign goes beyond the Company, reaching the employees family, children, grandchildren and siblings up to 11 years of age that were able to paint or write a story about "the world I want to live in when I grow up". The collected material is used to perform a cultural sample, exposing the views of young people.
The expectation is to reach more than six thousand employees.
