Cia. Hering in Paraúna
01/06/2011 - The president of Cia. Hering, Fabio Hering, signed a contract on April 28 with the governor of Goiás, Marconi Perillo, for the implantation of a new Cia. Hering cutting unit in Paraúna, southwest of the state.
Cia. Hering has been active in Goias since 1997 and this will be the fifth production unit in the state. About 315 are factions that generate 6,000 jobs, both direct and indirect, in 40 municipalities, producing 170,000 pieces per month. The company currently sends the cloth cut in Blumenau (SC) to the units located in the Goias. With the new cutting unit located in Paraúna, the logistics and the production flow will be optimized.
In his speech, Fabio Hering recalled, "Goias represents the largest part of the company's production in the country. Hering is not in Goias, it is Goias", he said.
With the installation of the cutting unit, the expectation is that the production of pieces could nearly double by the end of the year.
